Russell Fogarty and the late Michael Kazanjian, partners for more than thirty years and experts in the field for even longer, founded Kazanjian & Fogarty in 1990. The firm specializes in buying important jewelry and magnificent gemstones, as well as small family heirlooms and designer pieces in precious and semi-precious material. Clients include private individuals as well as bankers and lawyers representing estates.
Russell Fogarty
A highly respected member of the international jewelry trade. He is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and has been a prominent force in the global jewelry business for more than 40 years.
He was formerly with Christie’s, the international auction house, and spent ten years with the firm, ultimately as head of Christie’s New York Jewelry Department.
Michael Kazanjian
The late renowned gem dealer, estate jewelry icon and beloved member of the
international jewelry trade.
He was on the Board of Directors of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) for many years and until his passing directed the separate estate jewelry company, Kazanjian Beverly Hills, founded by his father in 1918 and now in the hands of the next generation.
